Wednesday night Zwift. The Zombie 5k group run, which sounds more exciting than it was β€” a slow lap through Douce France at a pace that barely registers as movement.

Nineteen-minute miles. Heart rate at 136. The pace says walk but the heart says work β€” both true at the same time. Sometimes that’s what you sign up for on a Wednesday at 11 PM after a full day. The zombies weren’t catching anyone tonight.

France looked nice, at least. Virtual France. The kind where you don’t need a passport and the elevation gain rounds to basically nothing.

Got the 5k in. That’s the whole story.
