Saturday evening, quarter to eight. Bike ride number one of two β because apparently whatever I went out for the first time wasn’t enough, or I forgot something, or the evening was nice enough to justify a second trip.
A mile and a third through the neighborhood. Ten minutes. The kind of pace where you’re pedaling but you’re not in any hurry. August heat finally starting to break a little as the sun drops. Louisville gets this golden-hour thing where everything looks better than it is.
I didn’t name this one. Strava just stamped it with the date: 08/13/16. Sometimes that’s all there is to say about a ride.
The bike doesn’t care what you call it.
