Another longer one. 1.28 miles, thirty-eight minutes. Heart rate averaged 119 and peaked at 149. For a walk, that’s real effort β the heat plus the distance plus whatever was going on internally that day.
Mid-September. The walks are getting a little longer, a little more frequent. Not by plan. Not by program. Just by showing up enough times that the radius slowly expands. Last month it was half a mile. Now it’s sometimes a mile-plus.
Nobody programs this. You just keep going outside until outside gets a little bigger.
