Downtown Pensacola on a Thursday evening. 6.4 miles in 48 minutes β a leisure pace, not going fast, just going far. This is a different kind of ride than the 4 AM loops. This one has traffic lights and people and the particular chaos of Palafox Street in July.
No music logged for this one. Just the sounds of the city. Car horns, bar noise bleeding out of open doors, someone’s truck bass rattling a stop sign. Downtown at dusk is its own playlist.
48 minutes is a long time to be on a bike with no destination. Long enough to think too much or not at all. I think I managed the second one.
