There’s a version of Pensacola that only exists between 3 and 5 AM β empty intersections, the streetlights doing that sodium-orange thing, and you’re the only moving object for blocks. Bowie into a-ha into Eddie Money. The playlist had “Take Me Home Tonight” energy and I was already heading there.
Short ride. Probably just needed to not be inside for twelve minutes.
